Drury Surgery is a cornerstone accredited busy, friendly family practice with over 30 years standing in the Drury community. Our vision is to provide the highest quality health care to the local population in a good working environment for staff and patients. We currently have a vacancy for an Experienced Practice Nurse to join our team on a part time basis. We are looking for a professional Registered Nurse who is a motivated and willing learner to join our busy team. You will enjoy working in a supportive, friendly environment which focuses on a holistic patient centered model of care. The hours for this role can be negotiated between 8-34 hours per week. However, we do need someone that is flexible to cover leave throughout the year. Our ideal applicant will have: - Current Practicing Certificate and CPR certificate - Current vaccinator certificate - Demonstrate your commitment to working in a busy primary health care team - Motivated and willing learner - Strong organisation and time management skills - Excellent understanding of patient confidentiality & infection control - Exceptional listener and communicator - A familiarity with Practice Management System MedTech 32 - Ability to provide telephone triage - Smear Taker registration You will call on all your nursing training in this role. You will be required to assist with maintaining RNZCGP cornerstone accreditation standards, and knowledge and understanding of clinical Chronic Care Management programmes and the "Planned Proactive Care" initiative is advantageous. It is important you are capable of thriving in a fast changing environment, and are open to new concepts and ideas.
