We're looking for a telephone based account manager to fill an important role within our business. But, we are also looking for someone who is very special. Someone who loves the products we sell, loves their customers, and can fit in with our close-knit team.

About the role
We have an established, long standing customer base comprised of clients that are small to medium sized businesses located throughout the Waikato.

We are looking for a sales professional who can identify the customer's needs and recommend the appropriate products and solutions (not an "order taker"). Someone who knows how to use the telephone as a sales tool, who has the ability to develop and work their own sales scripts. A team player who is always willing to help their team mates when needed, without losing sight of their own objectives. An experimenter who is not afraid to try new ideas

This is a full time role, working 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

- Proven experience as a telesales representative or other sales/customer service role
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets, preferably over the phone
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to learn about products and services and describe and explain them to customers
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
- Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
